Besides music there is much more going on at PLINK PLONK. In the nature of true hippie festivals, several tents offer various opportunities. Role-playing crew “Kivitsõõr”, Red Cross is out with their own tent, where they introduce different health issues and take care of injuries. AIDS prevention centre raises awareness about a very acute problem in today’s society, HIV virus. Tattoo parlour “Tartoo Tattoo” takes proper care of henna tattoos and the real ink.

PLINK PLONK is also the place where the full accelerating Estonian record label SEKSOUND officially launches its releases number two and three! Brand new Shelton San EP (SEKS003) will be on sale for the first time and also SEKS002, Estonian indie compilation "Kohalik ja Kohatu" is presented, that has been available in the stores for a couple of weeks.

Catering and drinks are all available. As PLINK PLONK doesn’t want to associate itself with any certain alcohol brand, the variety of drinks on sale is wider than average.

After the festival, everybody is invited to the nightclub where the stage will be invaded by Orelipoiss, ans. Andur and the renowned electronic twiddler from Berlin, Miwon (City Centre Offices).

		What else? What we’d like is for people to have a great weekender in Tartu, feel good, take some time off, lie around and listen to good music. .
