FLECKFUMIE
>>
Fleckfumie
is a good example of Berlin electronica - a subtle digital blend of
Fumie Tsuji’s japanese vocals and Nick “Fleck” Gloeckner’s digi-folk
guitar playing. The year 2004 saw Fleckfumie touring Japan with Mice
Parade and HiM, by today they have released a wonderful new album called
“Starcloud, Moonsky and Ocean”, released by a Japanese label Afterhours.
Compulsory to everybody who is moved by Kohvirecords artists like Pastacas
and Galaktlan.

POPIDIOT >>
Popidiot is the freshest band in Tartu. They definitely seem to have an
ideological platform that they want to convey in their music. The question
is: will the world listen? Or understand? They’ve had live performances in
Finland and Estonia. No record yet, but the album will come out in the
near future.

SHELTON SAN
>>
Psychedelic
noise-rock merchants Shelton San started going in 2002 and haven’t looked
back since. With live performances in Stockholm, Tallinn and Vormsi
island under their belt, future looks bright for the most important
follower of Estonian noise-rock pioneers Zahir and ÖÄK. For foreigners,
think Fugazi. Think Comets On Fire. Then think again.

VANITY BEACH >>
In order to describe their sound, Vanity Beach kindly ask you to imagine
Pantera jamming with Duran Duran. At the moment, the band is recording
their second album in Finland and vanitybeachers themselves say that it
crushes everything they’ve done before.

ZAHIR >>
Zahir is a legendary band almost as old as the Estonian underground
indie rock movement. Somehow they’ve never got their dues they deserve but
now Zahir is planning to take the trophy home because their new stuff is
completely mindblowing. You have nothing to lose except hearing.
